Welcome to Clean & Press Laundry, a growing laundry and dry cleaning company based in Cape Town. From our roots in 2019, we have successfully provided a Pick & Drop laundry service to the following clients:
- Residential: clothing, bedding, curtains, rugs, couch covers, etc
- Restaurants: chef and kitchen uniforms, napkins, tablecloths, bar and kitchen towels, kitchen and server aprons, and floor mats
- Bed & Breakfast: table linen, bedding, curtains, and floor mats.
Our list of services include wash, dry, fold and ironing, as well as dry cleaning. All our services are high quality, personalised, timeous and are offered at competitive and unbeatable prices.
In the midst of a global pandemic, we are playing our part to fight to the COVID-19 virus. Our commerical washers with very hot water along with our drying temperatures are superior in disinfecting and eliminating viruses including COVID-19.

How and when do I pay?
Payment happens before or upon drop off. We accept Cash, and EFT payments. We will send you an email receipt for your order once we are done with your laundry.

Is there a minimum order amount?
Yes, there is a R150 minimum order, with free collection and delivery as standard. Any order under R150 will be charged R150.

What should I prepare for the first pickup?
Just have your clothes ready. Our driver will bring a laundry bag to place your loose clothes in. If you have them in a bag yourself this is also fine.

Do I need to weigh my bag?
No need to weigh the bag as we will do that when we pick up your laundry and you will sign-off the order form specifying the total weight of your laundry. The minimum weight is 5kg and every kg over 5kg we will charge accordingly. Any orders below 5kg will be charged at the minimum weight price which is R150.

Are there any items excluded from your service?
Yes, we do not currently clean leather, suede, velvet or fur items. Please note, in some cases it is difficult for us to know if we can clean a garment until we see it. In the rare event that we receive your garment and cannot clean it, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Which areas do you serve?
WEST COAST TEAM: Table View, Parklands, Bloubergstrand, Sunningdale, Richwood, Milnerton, Burgundy Estate, Melkbosstrand, Sunset Beach, Milnerton Ridge and surrounding areas.
NORTHERN SURBURBS TEAM: Kensington, Brooklyn, Summergreens, Maitland, Pinelands, Parrow, Cape Town CBD.

Who picks up my clothes?
One of our friendly Clean & Press Laundry staff will pick up your laundry. All of our staff are background checked. We will arrive with a scale and plenty of laundry bags.

Where and when will my clothes be returned to me?
Most orders can be returned within 24 hours. Orders processed on Saturdays will only be returned back on Monday.
Please note that dry cleaning takes 48 hours from the time it is collected at our depot. Example: if collected Monday to Wednesday before 11am it will be ready to delivery 48 hours later - collections on a Thursday or Friday will be ready on the Tuesday of the following week.

Who will wash my clothes?
We do have a professional team of washers with many years of experience. Quality is always guaranteed.

Do I need to be home for the pick up?
No, you don't need to. You can leave your clothing at reception or with the security guard in your building and let them know that Clean & Press Laundry is coming.

What about those stains that will just not go away?
We make it our absolute priority to remove all stains that are found on your clothing but unfortunately some stains have become part of the fabric and are permanent. We will try more than once to remove it but constant attempts at working on the same spot can often lead to the garment fading or being destroyed.
